For two full decades I was a children's author. In that time I published around forty-five books of various kinds for children of various ages. Books of mine were translated into numerous languages. One ('Young Dracula') inspired five BBC-TV series. I visited schools to talk to classes, put in appearances at literary festivals, won the odd award, and so on. But I published my last children's book in 2015 in order to work on more 'adult' things. See some of those things below.
